Closed for the Season
To the Staff, Friends, & Supporters
of The Lake House Grille
It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter to inform you that The Lake House will not be re-opening for the 2015 season.
I am proud to have created an environment that bought so many good people together and hosted so many great times. I am eternally grateful for the tremendous level of support and loyalty my customers have provided over the years. I am choosing to focus my energy full time on strengthening my industry skills, in hopes that in the near future, I can build upon the business we’ve grown to love.
It should come as no surprise that doing business in Wells presented its challenges. However, please know that this decision is entirely voluntary, and has in no way been forced upon me.
I would like to thank all those that were such an integral part of the Lake House history. I wish I could name everyone individually, but there are too many of you, and it would simply take too long. Let me first express my appreciation to my loyal staff: Thanks for all your hard work over the years, as I couldn’t have done it alone. I couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated group of team members.
To my loyal customers: what can I say? The Lake House was what it was because of you. The atmosphere in the Grille was always amazing, and you were the biggest factor in that. Thank you for being thankful for me, because I know you have been. To all the wonderful musicians that provided so much heart & soul to the atmosphere at the Lake House: I’ll miss providing a great place for you to shine. I can’t say how grateful and honored I am for your desire to play on my stage, as your talent is truly world class. You always gave it your all, and everyone felt it.
To those critics & non-supporters who chose not to enjoy The Lake House: my hope is that you support local businesses with less scrutiny, for they are in fact an integral part of the community and its sustainability. I wish I could reach out to all of you individually to express my thanks, but that’s also unrealistic, and would frankly be too emotional for me. Not to mention, this is not a “Good Bye”. While we may not meet at the Lake House this summer, I very much look forward to spending time in Wells and simply enjoying your company. I am also looking forward to my future endeavors, and improving upon what you’ve loved so much about the Lake House.
Again, that you all so much for all the love and support you’ve given. I look forward to seeing you soon.
What an adventure the last 10 years have been. We certainly created a lifetime of memories!
With Love & Gratitude,
